LUMINARIA 2024
Luminaria is a special night event which remembers people lost to cancer, honours people who have fought cancer in the past, and supports those who continue to fight against cancer. The highlight of the event is the Luminaria ceremony happening after dark, when personalised Luminaria lamp are lighted and placed around the venue as tributes of Light, honouring those affected by cancer.
Luminaria is usually held the night before an R-Day event
In addition to the Luminaria ceremony, the Luminaria event will also consist of other interesting events such as performances by renowned artistes and special individuals including cancer survivors and caregivers, awards ceremonies for those who have contributed in the fight against cancer, and other exciting events.
Luminaria is a FREE event, open to everyone.
Cancer survivors and caregivers are especially welcome.

If you are unable to join the Luminaria event in person, you can always support it by joining a Virtual Luminaria . Register and leave a photo as well as a written dedication for the person you would like to dedicate the Luminaria to. A special Luminaria dedication page will come up with this dedication permanently there for a period of 1 year.
