- Details: This is a very nice antique apothecary bottle, it used to contain Glyco-Thymoline (now empty). This is a clear bottle, looks to be molded (has 2 seams), cork closure, and embossed lettering. However, we are not experts, so please do your own research if the bottle date is important to you. The bottle is embossed on the bottom: "K. & O. Co. New York", which stands for Kress & Owen Company, the makers of this product. Glyco-Thymoline is a patented Formula since 1894, it is an alkaline mouthwash and gargle, (still being sold today), to detach and help remove sticky, mucous accumulations from nasal and throat passages. This bottle will make a nice gift for a bottle collector, a history buff, or for display in a bathroom. A collection of old bottles makes a cool display on a windowsill or used as vases for flowers.

- Condition: Antique - Used. Very Good Antique Condition. There are no chips or scratches on this piece. We didn't clean this bottle since many like the patina of old unwashed glass. We didn't rate it "Excellent" because it doesn't have the original label, otherwise no issues. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
