This is a lock cover, fitting most Chubb and Yale locks, doubling as a small knocker. It's been faithfully recreated to match the quality and standards of its predecessors. Following tradition, it's not lacquered, allowing it to age naturally. Its dimensions are 80mm long by 58mm wide, with a backplate hole diameter of 38mm. Originally, it was used on a bedroom door in an old country house to conceal the lock and allow for knocking before entry.
